Take the Survey on Upcoming Contract Negotiations

Our 2010-17 economic agreement — which covers 98,000 members — expires in September. The union is gearing up for negotiations and wants to hear your top concerns and the steps you are willing to take to win a new contract.

During May and early June, DC 37 will conduct an online survey on the contract. TheContract Now art results will help the union prepare its demands and learn best how best to represent you at the bargaining table.

During May and early June, DC 37 will conduct an online survey on the contract. The results will help the union prepare its demands and learn best how best to represent you at the bargaining table.

Week of May 15:

DC 37 will send out an email with a link to the bargaining survey to those who have provided an email address to DC 37.

Members who receive the email will have a two-week window, or until May 26, to take the survey. Please complete the survey as soon as soon as you can.

Week of May 29:

The union will send a letter to members who either don’t have an email address on file at the union or didn’t complete the online survey.

The letter will provide you with an individual ID number and instructions for taking the survey. The survey will be found on the home page of DC 37’s website. The survey will be available Monday, May 29, for this group of members. In the event you do not receive a letter by June 1, contact your division.

Week of June 17:

The survey period ends. The DC 37 Research and Negotiations Department will begin its analysis of the results as it works with the DC 37 Negotiations Committee to prepare for bargaining talks with the city.

For those members without Internet access, you can request a hard copy of the survey from the division staff after May 29. The hard copy and instructions will be mailed to your home address with a postage-paid envelope to return the survey. No requests for a mailed copy of the survey will be accepted before May 29.
