We’re Moving
Throughout the month of July, DC 37 staff will be moving to 55 Water St. in lower Manhattan as DC 37 headquarters at 125 Barclay Street undergoes extensive construction and repairs.
DC 37 Executive Director Henry Garrido and the Executive Board, delegates, local presidents and union officers have agreed on the necessity to do the work which will close most of the building for approximately three years.
We are building a new state-of-the-art facility that will allow us to improve member services while bringing the building up to code.
The project will include interior renovations, new electrical, air conditioning and water sprinkler systems and, once complete, will leave us with essentially a new union headquarters.
Until then, the union must move to space at 55 Water Street in Lower Manhattan for the duration of the project. However, some activity will continue in the building at 125 Barclay Street.
However, members may still access services at 125 Barclay Street, where service desks will be set up on the first floor, until further notice.
Members can also reach their union reps by calling the same phone numbers they have in the past.
Please continue to check-in with the DC 37 website for updates.
And please note the main phone number for DC 37 will continue as 212-815-1000.
DC 37 Education Fund
DC 37 Education Fund staff will still be available Monday through Friday during business hours to answer any questions you have about available training courses, tuition reimbursement, and career counseling.
At training locations in Queens, the Bronx, and Washington Heights, we will continue to offer courses as listed in our catalog and on our website here.
This fall, we plan to add a new training site in downtown Manhattan that will serve as a convenient location for the courses previously hosted at Union Headquarters. Once the new accommodations are settled, we will update you of these important changes.
If you have any questions, you can always reach us at 212-815-1700 or edfund@dc37.net .
Thank you You all are doing a great job.
