The unions’ Delegate Assembly re-elected Executive Director Henry Garrido and his leadership team during an online meeting held on Nov. 23.

Along with Garrido, NYC Board of Education Employees Local 372 President Shaun D. Francois I was re-elected to serve his second term as DC 37 President.

Also winning re-election was Treasurer Maf Misbah Uddin, President of the NYC Accountants, Statisticians & Actuaries Local 1407, and DC 37 Secretary John Hyslop, President of Queens Library Guild Local 1321, also won.

After the ballots were counted during the online meeting, Garrido thanked the delegates and congratulated his team on their win. “Every day, we strive to make the lives of our members a little bit easier and a little bit fairer, and last night’s results prove that your effort is felt and appreciated,” Garrido said.

“I also want to thank the delegates for once again entrusting me with the responsibility of Executive Director. This union is family to me, and it’s an honor to continue to lead.”
