Communities Not Cages is a statewide campaign building the power of people and families impacted by mass incarceration to overhaul New York’s racist and draconian sentencing laws.

In Albany, we will meet with Senators and Assembly Members as we advocate to overhaul New York’s sentencing laws. We’ll hold a press conference and rally calling for the passage of the Eliminate Mandatory Minimums Act, Second Look Act, and Earned Time Act. And we’ll continue to build the movement for Communities Not Cages.
