Communities Not Cages is a statewide campaign building the power of people and families impacted by mass incarceration to overhaul New York’s racist and draconian sentencing laws. On January 19, we’re headed to Albany – virtually! We will meet with Senators and Assembly Members via Zoom as we advocate to overhaul New York’s sentencing laws. We’ll hold a virtual press conference and rally calling for the passage of the Eliminate Mandatory Minimums Act, Second Look Act, and Earned Time Act.
