Additionally, Food Bank for NYC offers free, contactless tax preparation services for low-income New Yorkers. Get the refunds and credits you may be entitled to, including the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) that can be worth up to $8,852 for some families. The IRS will accept 2021 tax returns starting on Jan. 31. The deadline to file is April 18, 2022.
