Join DC 37 Parks Workers at the Play Fair Rally TOMORROW March 22 at 9 AM on the steps of City Hall. The Play Fair Coalition, New York City Council Parks Committee Chair Shekar Krishnan, DC 37 and hundreds of City Parks workers and advocates are fighting for jobs and funding for New York City Parks. It’s time to hold our leaders accountable and protect NYC Parks funding!
*We demand that 1% of the city budget be allocated for Parks.
*We demand that the NYC Parks Department jobs of PEP Officers, Urban Parks Rangers, City Parks Workers, Gardeners and more, be baselined and included in the City’s annual budget.
*We must STOP the $60 million cut in the Fiscal Year 2023 preliminary budget.
