NYC’s ANNUAL LABOR DAY PARADE and MARCH RETURNS to FIFTH AVENUE on SATURDAY, SEPT. 10 at 10 AM

You’re invited to the Workers Leading, Workers Rising Labor Day Parade and March on Saturday, September 10. Grand Marshal U.S. Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh will lead the parade with Parade Chairs AFL-CIO Secretary Treasurer Fred Redmond and NYC Commissioner of Labor Roberta Reardon. The parade kicks off from Fifth Avenue and East 44th Street in Midtown Manhattan.

DC 37 and its locals will assemble on East 46th St. between Fifth and Vanderbilt Avenues to march at 12 noon. Wear your DC 37 green tee shirt to support your union and show our solidarity, diversity and strength!

Members should register to march at the following link: www.mobilize.us/afscmedc37/event/487871. There is no limit to the number of participants who can march with DC 37—the more, the merrier so we can show New York City that our workers demand a new contract NOW!

very limited number of chairs is available on the DC 37 Accessibility Float, and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis at the following link: www.mobilize.us/afscmedc37/event/487906. Once all spaces have been claimed, we encourage anyone seeking seated accommodations to join us at the Grand Stand located at East 63rd & 5th Avenue.
