District Council 37 is sponsoring a 2024 Lobby Day in Albany on Tuesday, March 12. You can help advance DC 37’s political and legislative agenda this year by attending and showing your support for workers and working families.

We will advocate for a number of legislative and budget issues impacting our members, including but not limited to:

• Reforming Tier 6 to bring equity to our pension benefits and make it more comparable to Tiers 5 and 4.
• Seeking a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) for Human Services workers.
• Advocating for Workers Compensation reform to include stronger protection and benefits for our members in need. 
• Lobbying for an affordable housing proposal for all New Yorkers.

Transportation, breakfast, and lunch will be provided. Register by Monday, Feb. 26 to participate in 2024 Albany Day.*

Day of: Please plan to arrive at 5:30 a.m. at 420 W. 45th Street, New York, N.Y. 10036. Buses will leave promptly at 6 a.m. We will depart Albany around 4 p.m. to return to New York City.
